Halal Korean Fried Chicken with Rice

Hello Guyz!! Did you check my previous Dessert Recipe? if not lets check out it was Oreo Mousse dessert. So today we are making Halal Korean fried chicken with rice. This recipe is perfect for those who love Korean & Chinese food.  

This recipe is so delightful with soft chicken pieces coated with a sticky savory, sweet, and mildly spicy sauce. It is so easy to make and taste is very delicious !!

Halal Korean fried chicken with rice is a tasty dish that combines crispy chicken with Sauces and Korean flavors. The chicken is cooked until it's crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

Ingredients

  • For the Chicken
  • 1 lbs chicken wings or  breast pieces choice is yours. 

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • Oil for deep frying

  • For the Sauce
  • 1/4 cup (Korean chili paste)

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste

  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil, you can also use simple oil. 

  • For the Rice:
  • 2 cups basmati rice

  • 3 cups water

  • 1 teaspoon salt

Cooking Method

  • Prepare the Rice:

    • Wash the basmati rice with water until the  dirt or impurities clear from the rice. 
    • Leave the Rice in water for min
    • Then boil the water in the pot, add salt in water and add rice in it. cover the pot for 8-20 minutes.
    • The Rice is ready. 
  • Prepare the Chicken:

    • Wash the chicken wings or chest pieces and dry it.
    • Take a bowl, mix the cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Put the chicken wings or chest pieces in the mixture and mix it until fully coated.
    • Now it is time to fry the chicken, put the oil in deep fryer and heat the oil. Put the chicken pieces in it and fry the chicken until golden color appears and crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  • Make the Sauce:

    • Take a small pan, add Korean chili paste, honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and sesame or simple oil. Mix this mixture and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
    • Put the fried chicken pieces in the sauce and coated the each piece well.  
  • Serve:

    • Take a plate put the rice in it, 
    • Put the chicken pieces on the top of rice and put the remaining sauce over the chicken pieces. 
    • Garnish with sesame seeds
